Attention all commanders! There has been some recent changes made here in the North Texas District concerning the awarding of the Leaders Medal of Achievement (LMA). As of April 1, 2006, all LMA’s MUST be approved through the district office before the medal can be purchased or worn on the uniform.
The procedure for this is as follows:
- Complete all the LMA requirements.
- Obtain an LMA report form from a certified instructor, or download the from from the district Royal Rangers web site, under the forms link.
- Complete the form and attach a copy (not the originals) of all your certificates from your modules that you have completed.
- Send the form and copies to the district training coordinator.
- After review, a letter of congratulations, and a certificate with your district LMA number will be sent to you.
- Purchase your medal and ribbon and wear them proudly.
For those commanders who have already earned their LMA, the district training coordinator is going to be looking back over the record of when you received your LMA and will be sending you a letter of congratulations and your certificate.
