Commanders,
14 years ago this month, I was presented the duty of being North Texas District, District Commander. At that point I sat in the District office with the staff and said I can’t do anything to build this district’s Royal Rangers, but we can. In those 13 years we’ve done a lot. We’ve built a first class campground recognized as first class around the nation. We have done a lot of things! This year presents some new challenges with the first ever Great Texas Pow-Wow where we’re expecting 1500-2000.
Effective the 31st of January, I will resign my position as District Commander. You have built the district, the Lord has allowed me to sit and watch. I love you guys, and I don’t use that word loosely. We’ll stand behind and along side the new District Commander as he is chosen by the District Office.
In His Service,
Paul Patterson
