We are currently 7 days, 5 hours, 41 minutes, and 16 seconds from the official start of Round-Up 2007 (as of the time of the posting). The details are falling in place. The t-shirts and bandannas are in production. The patches are in transit. The games are coming together. The schedule has been finalized. We are in the final stretches. Here is an update on the 2007 Round-Up. We have churches coming from the Waco, Austin, and San Angelo Sections. The Friday night meal is being provided by the men’s ministry of First Assembly of God in Lampasas. They will be serving BBQ. Registration is going to be inside Fort Courage where the FCF village is also going to be set up.
The official Round-Up Schedule will be available to churches at the time of registration. There has been one addition to the schedule. From 6:45 to 7:15 PM Saturday evening we are asking that each church send a Discovery Ranger, an Adventure Ranger, and an Expedition Ranger to Fort Courage where they will meet with South Central Region National Ranger of the Year, Waco Section FCF Scout, and Waco Section Jr. Commander Chris Trower and Waco Section FCF Assistant Scout Marshall Harrup for a time of face-to-face dialogue and feedback. This will be a time were these boys will be able to express their opinons concerning the section, events, activities, patches, themes, etc. There will be no commanders present so that way the conversations won’t be dampered.
Commanders, when your church arrives on Friday, as soon as possible send someone to Fort Courage to register your church and pick up your churches materials. We are asking that everybody wear their t-shirts and bandannas on Saturday. If you have any questions feel free to contact David Trower at JDTrower@royalrangers.net.
