With Survivor: Space Round-Up beginning in 3 days, 4 hours, 56 minutes, and 17 seconds (at the time of this post), the sectional staff is calling on all commanders to begin praying now for Round-Up that is this weekend at First A/G in Lampasas. We are expecting a great event and would like to see a great turnout. We are specifically praying over the following items:
1. That God will have His way during the camp, and that He will be honored and glorified in all that is done.
2. For the weather, that the clear weather that is in the forecast for this weekend will come about. (The weather currently looks like highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s on Friday, lows in the mid to upper 50s. Saturday is looking to be a wonderful day with highs in the mid to upper 70s and lows in the low to mid 50s. Sunday looks to have highs in the mid to upper 70s.)
3. That God will move during the evening services and in church on Sunday that many boys will be saved, filled with the Holy Spirit, healings, and calls into the ministry.
4. That there will be no major accidents and that we have a safe and fun campout.
5. For the guest speaker, that God will give him the anointing that he needs to bring forth the word of God.
6. For the praise and worship that it will be inspired of God and a pleasing sound to His ear.
7. For the boys, that they will be receptive to the word of God.
8. For the commanders, that they will be blessed by taking the time to come and be on this campout and that they will be touched by God.
9. For the staff, both camp staff and sectional staff, that they will have the God-given strength to perform their duties.
10. For safe traveling mercies as people travel from all over the Waco, Austin, and San Angelo sections to participate in this Round-Up.
11. That Round-up will be a safe and fun campout.
We are asking that everyone just take a few minutes every day during their prayer time to pray for the upcoming Round-Up. The sectional staff has also set Thursday aside to spend time through out the entire day to led into the event with prayer. We ask any commanders that are willing and able to throughout the day Thursday to be in prayer.
For commanders that are going to be in attendance at the Round-Up we have set aside time both Saturday and Sunday morning to begin the day in prayer for the event.
If you are unable to attend Round-Up, we ask that throughout the weekend you keep the campers, commanders, and staff in your prayers for both their safety and for God to have His way throughout the camp.
