Have you or someone in your church been in Rangers for a while and earned the old red or blue LMA? Did you miss the Transitions Module the last time it was offered in North Texas? The Transitions Module was developed for leaders that had earned the old red or blue LMA and needed to be brought up-to-date with the new program and transition to the new gold LMA. If you are planning to become a CI in the future, you must have the gold LMA. If you have your red or blue LMA, and haven´t already taken this module, than this module is for you.
The Waco Section Royal Rangers will be offering the Transitions Module on August 11, 2007 at Praise Temple A/G in Waco beginning at 10:00 AM.
Pre-registration is required if you wish to attend the Royal Rangers Transitions Module so that the correct number of copies of the booklets may be printed. The pre-registration deadline is August 1. Also, as part of the Transitions Module you will need the second version of Ranger Basics. It is imperative that if you provide your own copy of Ranger Basics that it be the second version. There have been substantial changes from the first version. We will be teaching the Ranger Basics portion based on the second version, and everyone needs to be using the same version. The second version has a blackish/gray cover.
If you wish to purchase the Ranger Basics book on your own, the cost of this Module is $12. If you are purchasing the Ranger Basics on your own, you must let us know at the time you submit your registration, otherwise a book will be purchased for you, and you will be responsible to pay for it. If we need to purchase the Ranger Basics book for you, the cost is $25.
The cost includes the transitions module booklet, lunch, Ranger Basics patch, LMA patch, gold LMA Class B ribbon, and, if needed, the Ranger Basics book.
