The annual District Winter Camp is coming up in November. This year it has been extended by one day for those who would like to make it a three-day camp. It will now be November 9-11, 2007. Another change is that we will gather for one big Winter Camp at Lakeview on that weekend. Superintendent Rick Dubose and Children’s Ministries Director Duane Swanson are scheduled to be our speakers. Special activities are being planned, including shooting sports for all boys (including target shooting with paintball guns), Challenge Course elements open for Adventure Rangers, new field games for everyone, a marshmallow gun competition for everyone, and more.
The cost to attend Winter Camp will be $20 per person, but if you are chartered for the 2007-08 charter year, you will receive a discount of $5 per person, making your registration fee $15. This fee includes all activities, patch, insurance, supper Friday night, and a special fellowship time Saturday night in the FCF village after the evening service.

There are several forms in this Winter Camp packet. Please note the following:
- The registration form should be completed before you register at the camp. We will need the name of each boy and leader who is camping on this form.
- Every adult (age 18 or older) who spends the night will need a registration form signed by one of the pastors at your church. This is a new requirement for this camp.
- Every Adventure Ranger who wants to participate in the Challenge Course will need the “2007 Challenge Course Release Form” signed by a parent before he can participate.
- Every Expedition Ranger who wants to participate in the Paintball Course Saturday afternoon will need the “Paintball Waiver and Release of Liability” form signed by a parent before he can participate. Also, please pre-register with the district (instructions in the packet) before the camp if you are participating in this optional Paintball Course.
- The “Royal Rangers Medical History/Release Form” should be completed for each boy and leader in your group. The group leader should retain these forms throughout the camp. If our medical personnel need the form we will obtain it from you.
