Please note that the Waco Section one-hour segment is from 7:00 to 8:00 AM on Saturday, March 1, 2008. We are asking that all commanders and those that are wanting to pray for Royal Rangers to set that time aside and spend that time in prayer.
Many commanders in the North Texas district are familiar with these prayer vigils, as we have been holding them for many years in conjunction with our Pow Wow and also in the spring of each year.
If you are not familiar with the prayer vigil, we have taken the 24 hour time frame of the vigil and have broken it into 24 one-hour segments. We are asking commanders and others who are interested in the Royal Rangers ministry to pray for one of those one-hour segments. Times have been “assigned” by section, but if you can’t pray an hour during your section’s time, that’s OK. Pick one of the other times to pray. And know that you are joining with people all over the district who will be praying during that same hour for the move of God through the Royal Rangers ministry.
If you feel you can’t pray for an hour, consider following this guide that Randy Woods has developed. Most commanders will be following a similar format during their hour of prayer.
