Thank you for what you have done. At the last minute Doug contacted me and asked if there was any that I could come and participate in the meeting so arrangements were made and I was able to attend, So attending for Royal Rangers were Doug Perry and myself.

1. That Doug will be able to articulate the vision for moving forward and developing Royal Rangers as the world’s absolute best tool for building boys into Christian men and leaders

He did a great job. They expressed compliments to Doug and the national staff for what they have accomplised and the complete and excellent manner in which it was done.

2. That the Holy Spirit will be present, inspiring Doug to communicate and the brethern to receive his message with favor.

There is no question on this one. It was apparent from the onset that all in the room were there for a common cause; to see us move ahead and reach, teach and keep boys for Christ. It was stated several times that Royal Rangers was a vital ministry and a critical part of the church.

3. That Bros. Garrison and Wray will catch the vision and the see future harvest it can bring.

In addiditon to these 2 gentlemen, Dan Clopine, the Director of Finance was present. They had all read the 19 page document that Doug had prepared and previously submitted. They offered some ideas, posed some questions, voiced some concerns but it was all very constructive and concensus was reached on every item. The conversation was uplifting and encouraging on every facet.

4. That Doug will receive a ‘green light’ to proceed to implement those changes that will bring the vision to fruition.

Each of the executives gave his expressed approval for this to be our plan for the future. They want us to succeed greatly.

You will begin to hear the details of that vision in the ensuing months if we are granted permission to proceed. District Commanders have been briefed as Doug has traveled to the regions and met with them. They whole heartedly agree with the direction that Doug has begun to map out and are excited to begin. This direction is the result of the year long surveys and in-depth conversations with our pastors and others.

DO NOT MISS national council. Doug will be presenting the vision. There’s nothing better than ‘hearing it from the horse’s mouth’.  Your input is necessary and your complete understanding is important if we are to succeed. I can tell you this; “The best days of Royal Rangers lie ahead”
