A Ranger Kids Training Conference (RKTC) is scheduled to be held in North Texas later this spring. RKTC is designed to give leaders training in various techniques and methods of leadership with a special emphasis on the Ranger Kids ministry. Virtually everyone who attends will say this is the funnest Royal Rangers training event they have ever attended.

RKTC can count toward earning your Leaders Medal of Achievement.

RKTC will definitely improve your ministry to the boys in your outpost.

Typically RKTC requires three days to complete — Friday through Sunday. However, this one is scheduled differently. Trainees will come to Lakeview Camp on two Saturdays — March 29 and April 5. By attending both days trainees will complete all requirements of RKTC. This schedule is ideal for those in North Texas who may not want to have to take time off work during the week to attend RKTC. It also saves trainees a significant amount of money on the registration fee.

The application form is available on the national Royal Rangers web site at http://royalrangers.ag.org/training/registration/index.cfm

If you are planning on attending, don’t delay in submitting your application. The national Royal Rangers office has to decide by the end of February whether or not to hold this camp. The deciding factor will be the number of applications received by that date.

I hope to see you at RKTC.
