If you haven’t already made plans to attend the Waco Section Round-Up, you should start considering soon. Round-Up this year is being held in Meridian, Texas, March 28-30. The pre-registration deadline is March 6 (meaning your pre-registrations must be postmarked by March 6). The cost for Round-Up is $30. However, if your church is chartered for the 2007-2008 charter, then you will receive a $5 discount per person, resulting in a registration fee of $25. This includes insurance, a patch, Round-Up T-shirt, park entrance fee, nature hike, Friday dinner, Saturday lunch, Saturday evening hot cocoa and marshmallow roast, and more.
If you fail to pre-register by March 6, then the cost of Round-Up will remain the same ($30 if you are not chartered for 2007-2008, $25 if you are chartered for the current charter year). However, if you do not register by the deadline, then a T-shirt will not be ordered for you. We are not ordering extra T-shirts, so you will want to ensure that you have pre-registered.
There is a registration form that must be filled out containing the names of all the boys that you are chartering as well as T-shirt sizes for all registered campers. There is a separate form for adults (those over 18 years old) that must be completed for each adult. A pastor’s signature is required for on this form. Adults without a completed, signed form will not be permitted to stay on the premises overnight.
