After a long day of evaluations and tough competition, the regional and national Ranger of the Years were named in the South Central. With 12 boys competing in Adventure Rangers and 6 competing in Expedition Rangers, the boys faced some of the most difficult competition this region has seen.
On September 23, young men from around the North Texas District gathered in Garland for the district Ranger of the Year evaluation. The Waco section was represented by Chris Trower, Waco sectional FCF scout and Jr. Commander. He competed as an Expedition Ranger, where he achieved Outstanding and was named District Ranger of the Year. [...]
The sectional Ranger of the Year evaluation took place at Bethel Assembly of God in Temple on August 26. The Southwest Division got together to conduct the sectional evaluations. The Waco section was represented by two fine young men. Caleb Follis representing First Assembly of God in Waco, competed as a Discovery Ranger.
